Among moving boxes and my cheekiest memories π¦ππΈ
My new home is slowly taking shape. π‘β€οΈ There are still boxes everywhere and suitcases stacked on the floor, and somehow I'm constantly searching for something. π But it's this little chaos that also brings the most beautiful surprises.
Today, I opened an old box with just 'Photos' written on it. πΈ I actually just wanted to move it out of the way quickly. Instead, I sat on the floor for almost an hour, flipping through old memories. π
Suddenly, I stopped. π³ Among the pictures, I actually found photos of myself from my early twenties. Taken at a beautiful nudist lake. βοΈπΏπ¦ I had completely forgotten that these images still existed.
I couldn't help but grin. π€ Back then, everything was so wonderfully uncomplicated. No cell phone cameras, no social media, no filters. You just enjoyed the summer, jumped into the water, sunbathed, and felt free. βοΈπ
While looking at them, I got a little embarrassed, though. π Some pictures are more revealing than I had remembered. Honestly, I was surprised by how confident I was with my body back then. I even admire my younger self a bit for that. π
Of course, I didn't put the photos back right away. Quite the opposite. I looked at them multiple times and couldn't help but smile. β€οΈ It's crazy how a single photo can take you back decades in just a few seconds.
Now, I'm wondering if I'll really put the album back at the bottom of the closet. π Maybe I'll flip through it again tonight. Who knows what little secrets or embarrassing stories are waiting for me between the pages. πβ¨
Sometimes, it's not the new furniture or the freshly painted walls that make you feel like you've arrived. Sometimes, a dusty old photo album full of memories is enough to get a little closer to yourself. β€οΈ
